AMI and BOY had great love for each other and were almost always by each other’s side. They meant everything to each other. On one particular rise, as they lay side by side overlooking all they accomplished, BOY said to AMI;

We will continue to join my living seed with your living seed. The seeds will join inside you and you will birth living children created of us both. The right sign will be in the bloods with the timing of Little- light.

Our children will be of substance and they will need the Vision. It will be the Vision we show to them.

We have knowledge that others will learn through the misguided use of the Codes, loud voices-of-destruction. Such voices will hound the others by wake and by dream, within and without. These Agents of the Entropy require the destruction of others. As each of our children set out, and they leave sanctuary they will make their chase through life and they will battle these voices-of-destruction.

Our children will have need of the Codes and the Wisdom-of-Vision. They will voice a different human vision, with voices-of-good.

I see, they are to have children and know when, by the bloods and the Little-light? Ok, the cycle of Little-light was about three decks. To me that would mean 30 days. That would be monthly, to my understanding. The bloods came monthly.

These children would be the vanguard of a new way of thinking. A new way the others can think. They would defy the voices-of-destruction where ever they may be. They would use Love and the Wisdom-of-Vision to enact the Codes as they needed. As time passed, AMI came to say,

BOY, the bloods have not come. They are three decks overdue from the cycle. I am of child. I am happy you see. I am hungry for foods not known to me. I want honey and water. I want to sing and dance along-side you. I want plants boiled in water you see.

AMI rubbed her tummy and felt the feeling. BOY rubbed lightly and kissed her tummy. He excitedly brought honey and made tea from the many plants AMI had collected and saved in sealed pots. He always went out to do the field and animal chores. AMI stayed closer to the cave and all the nearby chores. AMI and BOY felt so happy.

I saw over time, AMI felt ill and grew large in girth. She felt tingles in her teeth and brought foods from her stomach to the ground. BOY was anxious, not knowing what to do.

As the decks were passing BOY kept trying to provide comfort in all ways. AMI’s moods changed quickly. AMI wanted BOY to be close and hold her tightly. Other times she wanted to sit alone. Sometimes she felt sweaty, other times cold, and sometimes cramps. There was a time when AMI wreathed back and forth on the bed. BOY held her to be calm. Then she liked to take long walks with him. Animals tagged along.

All the time she worked hard on her chores and making new things. She started to make clothing for her child. A smock like a dress would work well.

After many more decks had passed she thought she felt a thump in her tummy. It came again. The baby moved and she could feel the movement. Soon an elbow here, a knee there and then the bum moved around. There became much more movement. BOY could not believe. Their

child was moving, and they could both feel it. When pain from the movement came about, AMI would rub it until it went away. Her tummy grew larger, her breasts much bigger and her buttons grew and turned dark.

2_BRAVE

One pass, several decks later AMI felt around, and she thought the baby’s head turned down. She felt sharp pains. She wheezed and held her stomach. BOY heard her and came running from the field. She stood holding both the wall and her stomach and her legs were buckling. He scooped her in his arms and quickly carried her to the bed. Their bed was now feathered and raised from the ground. He gently laid her back down and removed her open toga and boots.

He ran and made hot tea from the dried fruits of the fiber plant. She drank it all and BOY made more. Then he brought boiled water and gathered cloth pieces to AMI’s side.

Then a gush of waters came out of her expanded pore. BOY held her hand and kissed her. He murmured soft things as they rolled back and forth together. She yelled, she cried. Her mouth opened wide and her breathing got heavier. Time passed so very slowly. Beads from her forehead needed wiping away. Then, she felt more un-comfort. AMI gasped,

More tea, more words, please, anything!

She smiled at BOY, and Oink sat right there beside the bed. Ahoo paced back and forth looking up from the side. They were silent, they all knew.

Then AMI knew it was happening. The baby seemed to drop lower. AMI quickly reached up with her arms and over to her stomach. BOY

stacked soft forms to the sides and lifted her legs wide and on top of the forms. He nibbled his fingertips, as he felt AMI’s pain. BOY brought more tea from the fiber plant with some honey. AMI cried,

BOY oh BOY, it is here

Then I saw it. The top of a small head full of dark hair appeared. AMI pushed. BOY gently pulled. Then, in a huge push and the right pull, all at once a small body gushed out in a mess. AMI yelled; “Yip-eee.”

BOY grabbed it in his hands and held the mess to his face. He cut the life supply from the mess. The baby breathed slowly, they were worried. BOY held it together with AMI. AMI slapped it on its buff to make the baby speak. The baby quickly cried and gasped at breaths. It worked. It now lived on its own. It was a new life. AMI held her baby to her chest and it matched its mouth to AMI’s button. The baby made smacking sounds as it sought the life food of AMI. It soon settled into less crying and then quickly fell asleep in AMI’s arms.

BOY washed AMI and the baby with cool water and cleaned the mess away. AMI wrapped the baby in soft fluffy sewn puffs. The mess brought forward their first creation of a new life. BOY whispered to AMI as the animals came closer;

From out of the mess came a strong man. We must name each child by the Virtues we know. It is a man and it is the first of a new kind. He will face great dangers. This child calls out to be called ‘Brave’.

3_HOPE

Happy they were. AMI felt the pain gone away. Then, all of a sudden, AMI felt more stirrings. Total unexpected I could see. AMI,

Hold onto Brave with one arm and guide my hands with the other.

BOY held Brave in one arm and knelt before AMI. A new head appeared. Another child was being born. AMI bent her knees and sat up and pushed. Brave was crying loudly. and flailing his arms and legs. Then out came a head and AMI grabbed it by the sides and slowly guided her pushes. BOY moved the right directions to make the child emerge. Another mess popped out. AMI fell back exhausted.

BOY now held one in each arm. He beamed as his heart beat loudly. He cleaned and wrapped the babies in soft cloths and laid them by AMI’s sides near the newly built hearth. AMI lifted her head and yelled;

Yip-eee. This one is of nurture. She will be the first to have nurture. I will call her ‘Hope’ for all she can be.

The babies would wake by cry and AMI would suckle any need to the cry. More fiber tea, and much water. AMI kissed Brave and Hope as she held them to her breasts. Then the babies slept and AMI too. They were blessed from the start. BOY had lots to clean up.

Brave was the first born. Once his head passed through and he was slap started and then slid from BOY’s hands into AMI’s loving care. Within a short while he could touch his toes.

Hope came next, just a partition behind Brave. She was of low volume with bright eyes and when fed, bubbled bubbles from her mouth. She laughed early and mixed her fingers in her mouth a lot.

Their first returns were full of new wonder. At the start they looked about the same size, Brave was, maybe a tad bigger.

As they grew up together, Brave actually learned to walk before he crawled. He was always active and anxious to learn from his parents. His skin and hair were dark, and his eyes sparkled like BOY’s eyes. Then he

grew tall and strong quickly. He loved to run and climb in the trees. He worked hard with his father in the garden and on chores.

Many returns passed and he liked to spend time building things with the metals and the natures. Brave made his own tools with the Codes. He built a crude forge inside the large shed and made many metal things:

He helped his father make better wheels. They made metal rings that attached around the outside of the wooden wheels to last longer from wear, and made wide metal spokes for lighter, stronger, faster, wheels.

The spears Brave made were straight, balanced, and honed to a sharp metal point. He stood confidently holding a spear onto the ground. He carried a long wide metal knife like a short machete in his sash. His loaded sling was tied to his sash where small sachets of needs were also tied. He wore short light clothing and he wore a head band with a feather poking  up on one side. He looked fearless to me with a greeting feather in his band.

I saw it as strange because Hope had light skin and blond hair. Her eyes were blue. Her eyes twinkled when she blinked and she had those same strange markings as AMI on the back of her neck and forearms. They seemed quite different in looks but very similar in their ideas and hopes.

Hope grew up exploring everything. She loved to go running with Brave and could climb any tree he could. She loved to learn of the plants and the life and the sparks in the sky. She learned of all the plants and how to grow. She learned the cures and the many uses of plants.

She learned the teas and the tastes. There was food care and storage. Feeding and watering the animals in the pens. Collecting eggs and replacing the straw. She loved cooking and making things with AMI.

Still they looked similar and they both had navels, belly buttons. Of course, unlike their parents they were born of substance. Who could imagine what events in their lives would be?

I thought I saw it all, the creation, the life, the vision, but I had seen nothing at all until I saw these new lives being born and growing. There was to me a certain awe, unlike the others.

Far beyond the realm of particles and substance, and light and water, the Codes reach far beyond mere substance. These were extensions of their very lives. And the Codes worked.

4_VALOR

The seasons changed, never too cold and never too hot. Time moved and AMI was pregnant and a new child on the way. It was a boy. He came out with his arms swinging, and they named him ‘Valor’. Valor was tall and had light hair. Valor was everywhere. He soon learned to crawl all around the cave and dig in the rocks and the soil. The three children were growing and learning as were AMI and BOY. They added two more swings and made more metal things.

They spent two more returns making a clay pipe from a small mountain run off high to the fall-back of the cave. They made it with clay rounds. Each round had a narrow and a wide end that joined them together. They were joined in a slight downward direction with the water to enter the large end of the continuous clay pipe held up by firm log and rock supports over gaps in the drop, and ending in a flow of water to the cave and the animal troughs, then to the garden and the fields.

5_HEART

Then, the next two returns brought two more children. First came ‘Heart’. Heart was born small and looked pale and ailing. She still laughed a lot. AMI made cures for her lack and she grew strong but needed the cures. Heart smiled a lot. It made everyone smile being around her. She loved everyone. If someone needed help Heart would be there for help or for talk. Heart had the marks.

6_TRUST

Then a return later came ‘Trust’. He bubbled away and made whirring sounds. Trust liked eye contact with a voice. Then he would smile. He was big for his age and very strong. He grew up keeping track of the marks on the walls and understanding the skies. Trust loved the numbers and the words.

They now had five children and the clan was growing. Seven returns had passed and they had five small children.

Now AMI and BOY spent three returns to pay more attention to the growth of their children. Everything around changed and many more swings were added. BOY made log teeters and rope swings. They had more Snorts and Baas. More quacks and a host of new Oinks. The crops were beautiful. And they had stores of foods.

The children learned early how the chores worked and each had their chores by their age. They were happy and sang to their life. They played and they worked. Children of course had scrapes and hurts. Each treated with the Codes and with the plant teas.

7_BOLD AND JOY

After the tenth return had passed, a boy, named ‘Bold’ and a girl named ‘Joy’. appeared. It was twins again. These ones looked identical. Their light hair was curly. They liked being together and helped AMI with the cave chores, happily bumping into each other, on purpose. They giggled a lot at almost everything.

8_HAPPY

After three more returns, more children came. Next was a boy they named ‘Happy’. He was very happy, laughing and kicking. He learned easily and watched what everyone was doing.

9_LOVE

Then came a girl named ‘Love’. She was born early and unexpectedly in the garden under the fig tree. AMI yelled and buckled while picking garden foods and fell down on her hands and knees. BOY immediately came at a fast run. AMI opened her legs and the baby dropped out. It was that fast. They rolled in the garden with their new baby. AMI got up, held the baby to her breast and walked back to the cave. She had a pixie type nose and big eyes. Her eyes followed you everywhere. Everyone doted on Love. She was the darling of all and the easiest to make laugh.

As I saw it, Brave and Hope had seventeen returns. Valor was sixteen and Heart was twelve. Trust was eleven and the twins Bold and Joy were six. Happy was three and Love was one.

Unbelievably, they had nine children in 17 returns. Each child had aged and grown as I would expect.

Yet when I looked closely at AMI and BOY they seemed not to have discernably aged. They had hair. AMI’s dark head hair was long and ran braided down her back. When she washed it and fluffed it all out, BOY ran his fingers through her hair and blew through the openings to dry it. He then brushed it and braided it to her design.

AMI loved to wash and cut BOY’s hair. She cut it shoulder height with the sharpest knife BOY had made. She shaved his face and it was clean to the opening in his ears.

The older children looked after the younger. The older cleaned and washed the younger. They would play with them. They loved each other, each one. They would sit and rock the younger and teach them the marks on the wall. Brave and Valor and Trust and Bold worked with their Dad in the fields. Hope and Heart and Joy would help AMI make the foods for all and

AMI set times to eat. To know the times, BOY made and hung a bronze triangle over the cave entrance. AMI hit the inside of the triangle with a metal rod when food was ready. They came running. Everyone loved how AMI was making food taste so good with the hearth stove and the metal pots and the plant tastes she had gathered.

BOY made a huge, round wooden table with flattened stump seats all around, and placed it in the opening. He made higher seats for the little ones to sit high at the table. They would all be taught the chores and they would sing into the night.

There were now many animal sounds around the cave. They had many returns with light seasons. It was never too cold, never too hot. Crops kept getting better and bigger

10_THE HABITS

Throughout all seventeen returns, the children had grown, and they grew well. They were strong and healthy. Most of all they showed very happy. AMI and BOY taught them everything. They regularly had evening or early morning sessions with the children around the great table where they would learn the habits. On one such morning as all sat around the

table, He stood and walked around the table placing his hand on each head in their turn. BOY said,

11_THE LIFE

See all the life around us. Life is formed within substance. There are the seen, and there are the unseen, life substances. The life of the pond, and the life of the sky and the life of the land are all one. AZ is in all things. You are all life. Your substance bodies are a part of the living vision created by AZ Codes.

Treat all life with great respect and honour. Each life has a purpose to survive. Each survival has a purpose to you. Love the living substance. Keep all from where it came.

12_THE CLEAN

AMI said,

Rub, your finger through one of your pits, behind the ear will do. Smell it and you will know when you need clean of yourself.

Heart did so and yelled; “pheyou”.

Play and work with the soil and the dirt. The unseen dangers hide in the soil and the dirt and in the water. Some hide in the foods and in the air you breathe. Keep clean of yourself and those that need help. Keep clean of your surroundings. Get dirty and be known for clean.

13_EAT WELL

She said, You will gather all that you are from the foods you eat. The foods will supply each of your body needs. Your Vision requires it.

Foods from the land and the waters can supply all. Take animal foods only when needed respecting their lives.

14_THE TIME

You know the partitions and the passes. You know the decks and the returns as they are all scribed on the wall.

Now, three decks make one cycle of Little-light and will be known as ‘Full”. Thirty six decks and five passes will make one return. Time will change slightly and you will learn to adjust.

15_THE MOTIONS

Vision needs all your support. Give it the motions each rise, and each dark. The motions move all and they send power to all. Be known for the motions. The motions lead to the time-out.

The time-outs are for Vision. Your Vision needs time-outs after each motions.

There were many more marks on the wall.

Time appeared in this way in Of Protection
